Last week’s Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct opened with the reveal of Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros., a system based on the classic Nintendo portable systems of the ‘80s and featuring some of Mario’s debut titles. While we’re already familiar with the software that runs on the device, today Nintendo issued a new trailer providing a closer look at the system itself.

The one-minute video opens with a quick montage of the history of the original Game & Watch series, before launching into the present day with close-up shots of the new Super Mario Bros. system. The footage offers a detailed glimpse at the shiny D-pad, the smooth buttons, and the rechargeable USB-C slot. It looks incredibly polished and glossy, and definitely makes for a classy tribute to Mario’s anniversary.
