As part of the surprise Super Mario Bros. 35th anniversary Direct, Nintendo has revealed a new game that will be free for all Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
Super Mario Bros. 35 will be a battle royale version of the original Super Mario Bros., featuring 35 competitors playing simultaneously. The game takes inspiration from Tetris 99, having defeated enemies sent to opponents’ screens, with the winner being the last one standing. You can also use coins to spin an item roulette, hopefully turning the tides of battle in your favor.
The game will be available on October 1, 2020 for free for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. However, it will only be playable until March 31, 2021.
