Limited Run Games has revealed its planned physical prints of Shantae: Risky’s Revenge – Director’s Cut for Nintendo Switch.
The news came via Twitter shortly after the company’s unveiling of similar releases for their Shantae reprint for Game Boy Color and port for Nintendo Switch.
Shantae: Risky’s Revenge – Director’s Cut from Limited Run Games will come in both a standard and collector’s edition.

The standard edition will include only a physical boxed copy of the game, while the collector’s edition will include the following:
- A physical boxed copy of the game
- A commemorative metal coin
- A CD soundtrack
- A purple steelbook with an image of Risky Boots on the front and the game’s logo on the back
- A reversible 18″ x 24″ poster featuring Shantae
- A pixel-art Shantae enamel pin
- A Shantae acrylic standee
No price has been given for the standard edition, but the collector’s edition is priced at $64.99 USD.
A four-week open pre-order for both editions will begin Friday, September 11th at 10 a.m. ET.
