Earlier this week Nintendo surprised us all with a Direct Mini that announced a HD remaster of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, the cult-classic 2003 PS2 RPG that laid the bedrock for Atlus’ output over the next decade and a half.

If you’ve been eager to see some gameplay, Atlus Japan streamed out some footage as part of an Announcement Commemoration stream. You can watch it below, from the 1:04:40 mark, though it’s worth noting it’s the PlayStation 4 version that’s being spotlighted.
 

 
Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster launches in Japan this October while North America and Europe will have to wait till Spring 2021.
