Writer Gary Whitta added the title of “Talk Show Host” to his repertoire earlier this year with Animal Talking. The talk show that takes place in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Discord, and is broadcasted live on Twitch has been a hit. With multiple guest requests and talent managers trying to get their clients on the show, Whitta is able to pick and choose diverse lineups (including celebrities that are Animal Crossing fans!).
This week – prior to Wednesday, July 15th’s episode – Whitta was hyping up a big guest announcement. Luckily we didn’t have to wait too long and after the show, as Whitta tweeted out the following:

Brie “Captain Marvel” Larson will be visiting the island! As a longtime Animal Crossing fan, she recently created a new island and documented it on her new YouTube channel. Sorry if you thought Reggie Fils-Aimé was finally appearing on Whitta’s island. Hopefully, he has a seat saved in a future episode.
