After last week’s surprise announcement of Paper Mario: The Origami King, artists took to recreating some of the new paper forms shown off in the game’s trailer. With origami and paper maché-like techniques being used, it was just a guessing game of which character would be the first to appear online.

GandaKris took it one step further by not only making Origami Princess Peach, but also creating a follow-along DIY video via her NintenDIY craft series. Providing a pattern download and links to materials, you can craft your own Origami Princess Peach.

Throughout the video, it also appears that GandaKris has been working on more Paper Mario: The Origami King papercrafts. Paper Mario, Bowser’s hamburger-fold paper form, the new companion Olivia, and the new villain King Olly can also be spotted throughout the video. We’ll have to watch out and see if these make the cut-and-fold in another NintenDIY video!

Want to make your own Origami Princess Peach? You can download the pattern guide in the description of the video. You can also join in during Tuesday, May 19th’s livestream where GandaKris will be making her again.
