Paper Mario: The Origami King inspires a real life Origami Peach | Nintendo Wire

Paper Mario: The Origami King is pushing the series into a whole new level of crafty paper presentation. Our first glimpse of this à la the debut trailer was Princess Peach’s creased and reborn origami self, compelling Mario to fold as she has. Well, someone else may have taken her up on that in a different way…

The ever talented GandaKris, whose custom amiibo we’ve proudly shared in the past, put her DIY skills to the test with her own Origami Peach! The handcrafted princess is a well done take on the game’s style, and is hopefully just the first of many Paper Mario inspired projects.

Paper Mario: The Origami King will unfold on Switch July 17th.

When he isn’t writing for Nintendo Wire, Ricky’s anticipating the next Kirby, Fire Emblem, or if the stars ever align, Mother 3 to be released. Till then he’ll have the warm comfort of Super Smash Bros. to keep him going.
