Fans have been waiting for more on the sequel to the cult classic Deadly Premonition ever since it was announced back in September, and now we finally have a date for the adventurous mystery game – July 10th.

The date comes via a brand new trailer which appears to be the game’s “opening.” Director SWERY65 is quite fond of this television-like structure, using “previously on” segments in the original game while the unfortunately cancelled D4 had its own amazing intro.

You’ll be able to explore the city of Le Carré with Francis York Morgan in Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise when it launches on July 10th!

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
