Nintendo is no stranger to holding pop-up events, who can forget the time John Cena showcased the Switch in a desert, but this latest promotion is aiming its sights on travellers at select United States airports.

Given the system’s handheld capabilities it’s a logical connection, which is exemplified by the title of the pop-up experience: “Nintendo Switch On The Go”. Both the standard Switch and the Switch Lite will be playable in airport lounges, with games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Party, Tetris 99, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and more being showcased.

Anyone who visits will be able to get a free Nintendo Switch-branded luggage handle wrap plus a $10 Target coupon Target that can be used on any Nintendo purchase of $75 or more. Travelers who purchase a Switch there-and-then will also be able to snag a free carry case.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
