Say it ain’t so! It looks like our dreams of a Nintendo Switch Pro coming in 2020 have just been erased. According to a quote from the Financial Results Meeting in Japan that just took place, it looks like Nintendo has no plans to launch a new Nintendo Switch model — this year at least.
Regarding Nintendo Switch, we believe that it is important to continue to communicate the appeal of both Nintendo Switch systems and expand the installed base. Please note that we have no plans to launch a new Nintendo Switch model during 2020.
While the news might be a little disappointing, we respect that Nintendo believes it’s important to continue the appeal of both Nintendo Switch systems and expand on the installed base rather than release a new model.
