Sony Music releasing Mother 30th Anniversary vinyl | Nintendo Wire

The Mother series celebrated 30 years in 2019, a significant milestone for a series that has touched the heart of so many. And to celebrate, Sony Music is releasing a special 30th Anniversary vinyl soundtrack on Christmas in Japan.

Going for 5,500 yen (a bit over $50), the set collects Keiichi Suzuki’s classic vocal soundtrack into a vinyl form, giving us classics like “Pollyanna” (I Believe in You) and “Eight Melodies” in a rich sound quality. While there appears to be no plans for the vinyl to release in the West, you can in fact pick up a non-30th anniversary version of the same product from Fangamer right now, because Fangamer is just rad like that.
