It’s also confirmed on the official website that you get your Gigantamax Pikachu and/or Eevee when you reach the Wild Area within 2 hours, typically, of starting the game. They can’t evolve either – and neither can Meowth.
Pokémon Sword & Shield will launch in under a month on November 15th.
