If you told me two years ago that the Nintendo Switch would become a haven for classic computer RPGs I wouldn’t believe you, but here we are with several beloved Dungeons & Dragons adventures on the way and the more modern Pillars of Eternity launching on the system just a few weeks ago.

During Gamescom it’s been re-confirmed that the sequel to Pillars of Eternity is on the way, too, after the game was previously announced for consoles way back in February 2018. The nautical journey was released for PC in May of last year after being crowdfunded in 2017, and it was developed by the genre legends over at Obsidian. No release date is given, but it’s promised to be coming “very soon” with all major expansions included.
