Developer Game Freak has applied for the video game trademark “Little Town Hero” in Japan, which source Japanese Nintendo speculates is the final name for the upcoming Nintendo Switch RPG “Town.”

“Town (Working Title),” is a turn-based RPG announced during last year’s September Nintendo Direct that takes place entirely in one village.

The titular town knew “lasting peace” until monsters suddenly appeared, and it’s up to the player and other townsfolk to protect the village from them.

“Town” is being developed by Game Freak, otherwise known as the makers of Pokémon as well as lesser-known titles like Pocket Card Jockey, Tembo the Badass Elephant, HarmoKnight, and Drill Dozer.

“Town” (or “Little Town Hero,” if speculation is correct) is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch sometime this year.
