I’ve been eager for more River City Girls since playing it back during Anime Expo 2019, and while the game won’t be out for another month it looks like WayForward is set to deliver. A new trailer dropped spotlighting Misako, one of the two girls leading this all out brawl through River City. She’s got guts, attitude, and is ready to knock the teeth out of anyone who stands between her and rescuing her boyfriend:
You also get a good look at the game’s animation and manga panel style cutscenes that look absolutely gorgeous. The gameplay itself is no slouch either, with some great pixel work and animations that fit the characters’ personalities. Be ready to take it all in for yourself when the game arrives on September 5th.
