It’s time for another monthly update for Nintendo Switch Online’s NES library — though this month’s is a mite more interesting than normal.
The two games — Donkey Kong 3 and Wrecking Crew — are both fairly unsurprising, arcade-y additions to the library. What’s more intriguing is the addition of a rewind feature — by holding the ZL + ZR buttons, you can rewind time a few seconds in any NES game, allowing you to take a step back and avoid a costly mistake. This feature can help smoothen your gaming experience by allowing you to escape death or retry trickier sections more quickly, though it’s obviously completely optional.
Both the new games and the rewind feature drop on July 17th. Stay wired in for when the update drops.
