Downloadable content, amiibo support, online play, and the file size of Fire Emblem: Three Houses have all been confirmed via a download card for the game.

The information comes to us from user “wwc1988” on the website gamer.com.tw, on which they posted a photo of a Japanese download card for Fire Emblem: Three Houses; user “lancelam” then translated the tidbits on Reddit.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses will take up 11.9 GB of hard drive space, approaching the file sizes of fellow Nintendo Switch titles Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Online play has been confirmed, although no new details have been revealed; a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required to participate in online features.

Amiibo support, which had been briefly shown during Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3 2019 gameplay footage, is also mentioned on the download card.

No new information was provided regarding what sort of amiibo functionality players will see in the game.

Lastly, DLC has been revealed to be planned for the game in the form of new missions, paralogues, and clothing items.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses will launch worldwide for Nintendo Switch on July 26th, 2019.
