Tetris is having a real good month right now. Sure, it’s one of the most recognizable brands in games and that song’s been stuck in our heads for decades, but when do you ever stop and think about what’s new for Tetris? Well, now it’s free on Switch in a game that actually makes battle royales palatable for people who just can’t get into shooting, and it’s been announced the blocks are kicking it with Puma for collaboration later this year.

The partnership will see Puma’s iconic RS presumably sporting tetriminoes, bringing these two ’80s icons together and looking good doing it. While we await an official look at the shoes, we’ll just keep busy with some Tetris 99 on Switch, with their release planned for October 2019.
