Get those party poppers ready, ’cause the Animal Crossing series’s fan favorite assistant Isabelle has been announced as a new, playable character in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!

The reveal was made during today’s Nintendo Direct broadcast, during which a new Animal Crossing game was announced for release on Switch in 2019.

Isabelle joins the game’s roster as character No. 68 (and 74th non-Echo), joining series veteran Villager as a unique fighter — not an Echo Fighter like members of the Super Smash Bros. community had long speculated.

Isabelle’s moveset appears to have some parity with Villager’s (like her Pocket ability and her net as a grab), but a few moves, like her party poppers, fishing rod, and possibly a stop sign, seem all her own.

As seen in the below video, she shares her Final Smash with Villager, albeit using the town hall to blow her enemies up instead of a house.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will drop worldwide on December 7th.
