Coming back to the battle with Mega Man for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is his familiar stomping grounds: Wily’s Castle. He’s been through several of these multi-stage fortresses over the years, and now that legacy continues on again in Smash.
Wily’s Castle appeared previously on 3DS and Wii U, though each version had slightly different obstacles and gimmicks. This time around though, the Ultimate version will have the features from both versions of the stage, including the Yellow Devil boss enemy.
I feel this might be one of the stages that will benefit the most from being able to turn off those features or have a Battlefield version of the stage. Being a Mega Man stage, Wily’s Castle gets some of the best music in the game so to be able to fight to that without the overwhelming array of interference, while not settling for the plainness of an omega stage, means this one will get a lot more use from me. Finally, we’ve found a way to stop Dr. Wily.
