During E3 I ended up playing a little Pokkén Tournament DX and I remembered why the game was so fun — all the way from arcade, to Wii U, to Switch. Thankfully, it seems Nintendo and Bandai Namco are keen to keep supporting this latest iteration, and later this week we’ll see that via a brand new balance patch.

The Japanese Pokkén Tournament site has the full patch notes available, and thankfully the dedicated people at Pokkén Arena have them all translated and organized. I was most surprised to see that every single battle Pokémon is getting some kind of buff, with only a few losing anything.

Aegislash and Empoleon especially are seeing plenty of adjustments, and even some support Pokémon are getting refined. It won’t take long to see the effects of all these changes though, as this patch will be out starting July 11th.
