Hot on the heels of Daroach’s debut, the next Star Allies Dream Friend is getting the silhouette treatment. While it took a little ingenuity to solve that Daroach’s was turned and upside down, this time it looks to be a much more angular addition that leads me in a single direction.

Shown off with some other multi-edged mooks and a winter blasted Chilly, it’s hard to say what that strange shape could be. My knee jerk thought was Qbby, HAL’s own BOXBOY himself, but then I remembered the datamined list of friends and it made a lot more sense.
With Dark Meta Knight as one of the potential newbies, this could be him inside a shard of the Amazing Mirror, as it was shown in Kirby Triple Deluxe. The angles add up to a full circle return for the reflected ruffian, and those extra shards could be a hint of some of his powers. While he has enough techniques at his own disposal (being a copy of Meta Knight and all) maybe he’ll be how Star Allies represents the missing Mirror copy ability.
It’s only a matter of time til we get the full reveal, but don’t let my hunches stop you from having fun and guessing yourself. Look forward to that and more for Kirby Star Allies on the road to its summer update.
