UPDATE: Blizzard has revealed to Polygon that the tweet was simply meant to be a “fun community engagement piece” rather than a tease for Switch. The wait continues!

While Blizzard has briefly talked about porting its games to Switch before without confirming anything, it’s looking like an announcement may be coming soon. The company’s official Twitter account has released a cryptic video of a Diablo-themed nightlight being turned off and on by a switch. Naturally, this has led to a lot of fervent speculation…

Out of all the modern Blizzard properties, Diablo is one of the best suited to the system, thanks to its native controller support. Diablo 3 has seen ports to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, so it’s likely the installment that’d make the leap over.

Of course, it could just be Blizzard advertising a bizarre new piece of merch instead. We’ll just have to wait and see!
