A couple of days ago we brought you news of a rumor claiming Bandai Namco’s Singapore studio is working on the hotly-anticipated Metroid Prime 4. Now, a few more sources have approached Eurogamer and said the same thing.
The rumor states that the Singapore-based dev team, comprised of former LucasArts employees who were working on the much-anticipated Star Wars 1313 before the studio was shuttered, has been handed the fourth game in the Prime series. To get an idea of the team’s capabilities, check out the early 1313 teaser below:
From an art and scale perspective they definitely do seem like a good team for the project, even if the gameplay will hopefully be quite different!
We’re sure to hear more on Metroid Prime 4 in the months to come as the game has yet to receive a proper release date.
