The line-up for Arc System Works’ fascinating fighting game mash-up BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle keeps on growing. Hot on the heels of Chie Satonaka, Noel Vermillion and Walstein, we’ve got another batch of three brawlers heading to the arena.

First up is Gordeau from Under Night In-Birth, complete with his massively destructive scythe. After that we have Yukiko Amagi of Persona 4, who handily rounds out that game’s initial four party members, considering Yu, Yosuke and Chie are already confirmed. Finally there’s Azrael of BlazBlue itself, who brings powerful melee to the fore.

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle launches for the Nintendo Switch next year, and Arc System Works will be publishing the game directly in North America now it has opened its own studio in the region.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
