We learned earlier today that a division of Sony would be publishing turn-based, tactical title Tiny Metal, yet we didn’t know much about the branch itself, other than the fact that its name is Unties. Lucky for us, we didn’t have to wait long to get ahold of more information about the new label.

Under Sony Music Entertainment, Unties has also revealed three additional projects are currently in development, one exclusively on the PS4 and two for the PC and potentially other platforms as well. While there’s no word on what these titles are or if they will even be making a Switch debut, we’ll be sure to keep you posted as soon as more details emerge.

According ton Sony Music, Unties was set up to “to unearth high-quality [indie] titles … and utilize SME’s vast entertainment business wisdom in order to expose them to as many consumers as possible.” It plans to “to free creators from the myriad ties that bind them when it comes to publishing their games” and “make free, limitless publishing a reality.”

Before you get too excited, take note that this new venture is designed specifically to publish indie-style games so, sadly, don’t expect Uncharted or The Last of Us to be making a Switch debut anytime soon. Tiny Metal launches on the Nintendo Switch sometime later this year. Stay tuned!
