We’ve had our fair share of Monster Hunter news coming out of Japan lately, and sadly, those of us in North America have been forced to watch amazing announcements like Monster Hunter XX for the Nintendo Switch with no confirmation of localization. Well, Monster Hunter fans, your luck might have changed! Thanks to NeoGAF user Mellahan, a new trademark has been uncovered for something called Monster Hunter World.

Like most game trademarks, not a whole lot of information can be found by looking it over. We can see the trademark was filed on June 5th and it falls in the computer game software category. Besides that, this piece of news is shrouded in mystery. There’s a chance that this could be the localized name for Monster Hunter XX, or it could be a brand new title altogether. What do you think this trademark could be for? Let us know in the comments below!
