Ahead of Inti Creates’ BitSummit appearance this weekend, where the plan was to unveil two games for the Nintendo Switch, Famitsu has gotten an early exclusive by revealing Mighty Gunvolt Burst.
An upgraded version of the original 8-bit flavored game for the Nintendo 3DS, Mighty Gunvolt Burst plans on fleshing out the experience. There will be a character growth system as well as the new Burst Combo, which gives you a bonus for taking down adjacent enemies. Switch players will also be able to douse for items thanks to HD rumble.
Gunvolt (Azure Striker Gunvolt) and Beck (Mighty No. 9) are confirmed playable characters. Given that the game is building on the first version it’s likely Ekoro from Gal*Gun will make an appearance too.
