Even if you’ve taken on Cave Story again and again over its many releases, Nicalis is still finding ways to make it new and exciting. Players on Switch will be able to enjoy local co-op via a free update due in late summer for Cave Story+.

Joy-Con are fast becoming one of the niftiest ways to handle co-op and multiplayer like this and it’s great to see developers realize that potential. Look forward to Cave Story+’s release, both physical and digital, on June 21st!
