It’s looking like ARMS will be a game full of colorful characters and a vibrant world, so it only makes sense that the official Japanese ARMS Twitter account is leaning into the sheer style on offer. Not only are there simple images of the announcer Biff, but also fresh artwork featuring the characters.

Today’s update focuses on Mechanica facing off against Ribbon Girl, with the former blocking the latter’s straight punch. Give it a look:

A few days ago we also saw some artwork of the three female characters revealed so far side-by-side: Mechanica, Ribbon Girl and the newly announced Min Min.

Also as a little aside as it may have flew under the radar, the official Japanese website confirms that Mechanica rides in a mech because she does not possess the springy ARMS herself. It also explains the lack of swirls in her eyes compared to the other fighters.

We’ll be sure to bring you more on ARMS as it’s unveiled.
