Nintendo must be feeling pretty good about ARMS now, what with the positive reception it’s developed since its debut. After the recent Direct I’ve been eager for any and all information regarding the upcoming fighter, and now that the official ARMS website is live in Japan I’ve got a whole new source to scour.

What really strikes me first is how well the site matches with the game’s visual style and gives an idea of what ARMS’ own menus may end up looking like. The three sections are pretty straightforward with what they provide, though have plenty of this same visual flair. The section detailing the ARMS themselves, for example, has a close up of all revealed varieties and a bit of flavor text (all in Japanese) to give a better understanding over all. Keep in mind that the names are a bit different from what’s been revealed in the localized version in some cases, and by the looks of it there’s no info here that wasn’t revealed during the Direct.

The Fighters section is definitely my favorite, giving each revealed character a chance to shine. Offering data such as where they’re from, their heights, interests, and more it’s a great way to learn more about the cast. Now I know that Mechanica can’t use ARMS herself, but is such a huge fan that she built her mech just to enter the ring herself, and that Min Min’s out to promote the ramen shop that’s also her family home on the largest scale she can. This page also gives a look at the home stages of each fighter save Ribbon Girl and Mechanica, who don’t have one at this time.

Look forward to more on ARMS, including hopefully the reveal of a similar US site, in the near future as we get closer and closer to its release on June 16th.
