Edmund McMillen — creator of The Binding of Isaac and butcher of tiny meat children — took to Twitter today to gauge interest in the weeping wastrel’s immortalization as one of Nintendo’s highly coveted amiibo figures.

As expected, the results of the poll were resoundingly positive, with 70% of people stating they’d purchase the figure come hell or high water — 22% of which don’t even own a Switch.

As you know, amiibo are no strangers to receiving third party support from time to time. Both Capcom and Yacht Club Games collaborated with the Big N on a series of beautifully sculpted Monster Hunter Stories and Shovel Knight figures (fingers crossed on more being announced for the latter), with Playtonic Games tormenting fans with a possible Yooka-Laylee tease back in February.

Excited at the possibility of showcasing small, traumatized children alongside your collection of joyful Kirby series figures? Wish this was a tease for a completely different Isaac? Be sure to let us know in the comments!
