Earlier this year, Sega revealed that the original Puyo Puyo would be coming to Switch via the Sega Ages line, with a late February target. Well, it’s the last week of March now and I was starting to get anxious, but fear not — Sega Ages Puyo Puyo is alive and well and will be released in Japan on March 28th.
「SEGA AGES」シリーズ配信タイトル第7作『SEGA AGES ぷよぷよ』3月28日配信決定!

While there’s no word on the American release, the official page for this one lists English as a language option and even shows the title screen and character dialogue translated. This comes along with online features and the expected Ages polish that’s made other releases like Out Run worth picking up again.
Be on the lookout for more information for all things Puyo Puyo and Sega Ages in the future, including as early as this weekend’s Sega Fes.
