Pocket Rumble, a simplified one-on-one fighting game that harkens back to the days of the Neo Geo Pocket Color, was first announced as a Switch console exclusive way back in the Nindies Nintendo Direct in February. In the video, Pocket Rumble was given a release date of March 2017. Fast forward to the end of March, and the developers send out a tweet that they are “currently unable to comment on the release date of Pocket Rumble.”
We're currently unable to comment on the release date of Pocket Rumble.
As soon as that changes we can and will post more info.

Jump ahead once again to August, and after numerous hints and shrugs regarding the release of the game, @sol_goodgirl, the lead artist, composer and co-game designer responded to a fan’s questions about the port, saying:
Pocket Rumble lol yeah John our port guy is finishing it up we've been submitting builds to Nintendo and catching the last of the bugs

This is not the first time the developers have hinted that bug testing was almost finished and that the release should come soon; however, hopefully this time it’s the real deal. If you can’t wait any longer for the Switch version, the game is available on Steam Early Access right now.
