The Pokémon Company has announced it is teaming up with Polaroid to release special-edition cameras inspired by Pikachu, Sylveon, and a Poké Ball.
The Pikachu and Sylveon cameras are unique versions of the Polaroid Go Generation 3, with line art and colors based on their respective Pokémon – yellow for Pikachu, and pink and white for Sylveon. The former has a lanyard charm shaped like Pikachu’s tail, while the latter features a pink, white, and blue strap.

The Poké Ball-themed camera is a Polaroid Now Instant Camera Generation 3 with a red, white, and black finish, mimicking the iconic colors of the critter-catching device. All three cameras also have shutter buttons that look like a Poké Ball.
Special Pokémon × Polaroid film will also be available. The Pikachu Edition film features the Electric-type mascot in a variety of playful poses, and the Sylveon Edition film is decorated with subtle silhouettes of Sylveon, bows, and Poké Balls.
The Pokémon Edition i-Type film, meanwhile, has “a wide variety of Pokémon pals, including Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Gengar, Umbreon, Mimikyu, and more.” All Pokémon film types will have darkslides featuring many different creatures from across the Pokédex. Users can register on the Polaroid website to keep track of their collectible darkslides.
The Pokémon x Polaroid collection will start shipping from September 29th, 2026, exclusively on the official Polaroid and Pokémon Center websites. Pre-orders will open on August 25th.
