Coinciding with last week’s launch of Star Fox, a new merchandise item based on the game has appeared on European Nintendo Stores.
The Star Fox Mousepad – now live on the UK store for 500 Platinum Points – features the main cast (from left to right) of Slippy Toad, Falco Lombardi, Fox McCloud, and Peppy Hare. It is made of synthetic rubber and measures approximately 23 x 22 cm.
The item is also available at the following European Nintendo Stores:
- Austria (German)
- Belgium (French/Dutch)
- France (French)
- Germany (German)
- Ireland (English)
- Italy (Italian)
- The Netherlands (Dutch)
- Portugal (Portuguese)
- Spain (Spanish)
- Switzerland (German/French/Italian, for users in Switzerland only)
There is currently no word on the mousepad being distributed in other territories, such as the US.
Orders are restricted to one item per My Nintendo user. Shipping fees will apply, though users can avoid charges by spending $50 or more.
Star Fox is available now on Nintendo Switch 2, having launched last week on June 25th. It soared to the top spot in the UK charts, outperforming the launch numbers of its predecessors Star Fox Zero and Star Fox 64 3D by a wide margin.
A playable demo is available via the Nintendo eShop, and a different demo is available at various retailers across the US and Canada.
