Jersey Jack Pinball has released a first look at its upcoming new machine, which is based on platforming icon Sonic the Hedgehog.

A teaser video (spotted by Knapp Arcade via Sonic City) recently surfaced on Jersey Jack Pinball machines, giving a brief glimpse of the new Sonic cabinet.

A full reveal of the machine is scheduled for June 23rd, which also marks the 35th anniversary of the original Sonic the Hedgehog launching in the US.

Jersey Jack has also updated the home page of its official website with the tagline “Ready to run?” and a short looping video featuring a close-up of the machine’s coin slots.

Another brief animation was shared online by Reddit user Will7260, which was spotted in an official email from Jersey Jack.

A launch party for the Sonic the Hedgehog machine will take place at the Under the Glass Pinball arcade in Red Bank, New Jersey, from June 27th to 28th. Jersey Jack founder Jack Guarnieri and Sonic machine designer Steve Ritchie will be in attendance to discuss the design process. Tickets are available in limited quantities from the Under the Glass website. Attendees can play the new machine, as well as meet both Guarnieri and Ritchie.
