An unofficial enhanced port of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been released, and is playable on PC, iOS, and Android devices.
The project, titled Dusk and developed by Twilit Realm, provides higher resolutions, uncapped framerates, gyro aiming, bloom presets, improved shadows, the Wii U version’s free cam, the mirrored Wii version of the game, support for custom models, and achievements.
There are a host of quality-of-life features, such as skippable dialogue and animations, faster climbing, autosaves, faster transformations, and more.
The port also includes cheats, which can be used to enable higher jumps, a “Super Clawshot,” and faster movement with the Spinner and Iron Boots. The trailer ends by teasing that a randomizer mode is “coming soon.”
Dusk is available to download from Twilit Realm’s website and requires a dump of the original GameCube game to be played. Dolphin Wiki has a handy guide on how to rip GameCube discs for those unfamiliar with the process.
The port was made possible after Twilight Princess was fully decompiled by the Zelda Reverse Engineering Team in December 2025, a project that began all the way back in 2020.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will turn 20 this year, with the title originally released on GameCube and Wii in late 2006. A HD remaster launched on the Wii U in 2016.
