In this week’s Nintendo Music update, we’re playing with super power as Super Metroid is added to the streaming service. First released in 1994 on the SNES, the third installment in the Metroid series changed up the formula with new power-ups, three secret endings, and an inventory screen. While the game was critically acclaimed and beloved by fans, Metroid went on hiatus for eight years after the release of Super Metroid.
28 songs make up the Super Metroid soundtrack with a runtime of one hour and two minutes.
