One of the rarest NES games is Sunsoft’s Gimmick! Released in 1992 and developed to rival its 16-bit rivals on SNES, it had a hard time finding publishers outside of Japan and as a result only had a very limited release in Scandinavia.
Thankfully that is finally changing as Bitwave Games has announced a Special Edition of the game for modern platforms, including Switch.
Gimmick! Special Edition will launch digitally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in 2022 while a physical release is also planned by Clear River Games.
