When you’re out hiking while playing Pokémon GO, it’s only natural you’d want a Starbucks coffee. I mean, who doesn’t want to hydrate with a venti cup of coffee instead of water? Now, you don’t even need to consider going anywhere else, because Starbucks Japan is launching a new collaboration campaign with Pokémon to introduced themed drinks and special merchandise for all prospective Trainers out there.

Set to officially launch on September 30th, 2026, the collaboration kicks off with what the company is calling the “Pikachu Honey Cream” latte. An iced espresso made with honey (duh) and caramel, the idea is that the yellow-ish color of honey resembles Pikachu’s signature design. The whipped cream topping is also dyed yellow and given some chocolate drizzle, also mimicking Pikachu’s color scheme. It was designed by Starbucks employee Junko Nitta of the Koriyama Asaka location, who entered the Pokémon + Starbucks Barista Battle and won. Each purchase of the latte comes with a sticker featuring artwork from Hikaru Ichijo, an illustrator.

The rest of the collaboration features 41 different pieces of merchandise, which includes a number of tumblers and mugs, an apron, some totes bags, and more. As with most collaborations, there are far too many to write out, but the official Starbucks Japan website has a list of everything. There doesn’t seem to be any international shipping restrictions, so you should be able to import whatever you’d like. Most items come with a free drink voucher, though that likely won’t apply to you as an international buyer.

This collaboration will be running until October 8th, 2026, so you only have a little over a week to visit participating stores throughout Japan. It seems like a fun way to engage with Pokémon and nab merch.
