With Square Enix set to debut a “New Look” at Final Fantasy VII Revelation for Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 soon, it’s no surprise that the company would begin ramping up its promotional tour for the FF7 Remake trilogy closer. As spotted by Nintendo Life, both PAX West and NYCC 2026 will have special panels dedicated to Revelation on September 5th, 2026, and October 8th, 2026, respectively. The entire English voice cast will be present for the NYCC event.
For attendees of PAX West this year, on Saturday, September 5th at 3 p.m. PT | 5 p.m. CT | 6 p.m. ET, both Naoki Hamaguchi (Game Director) and Teruki Endo (Battle Director) will be talking about the design of Revelation likely from a gameplay perspective. If you can’t be there in person, the panel will be livestreamed likely on the official PAX West Twitch channel and Square Enix’s own channels. Seeing as how it comes after the Gamescom “New Look,” there’s bound to be new information discussed.

The NYCC panel sounds a lot more exciting. An official description from NYCC reads, “For the first time ever, see the full main English voice cast of Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the climactic finale to the Final Fantasy VII Remake Series, on stage together! Accompanied by the game’s director, Naoki Hamaguchi, the voice cast will share stories from their time recording for the game, discuss their characters in the third game, and more. Exclusive BTS footage from their recording sessions will also be shared.” This is set to take place at 8 a.m. | 10 a.m. CT | 11 a.m. ET on Thursday, October 8th.
If you’re excited for Final Fantasy VII Revelation, then the next two months are going to feel like heaven. With the game seemingly scheduled for an early 2027 release, it won’t be long before the exciting conclusion to this trilogy is within players’ hands.
