This weekend marks the first time that the public, and anyone really, will have the chance to try out FromSoftware’s Switch 2 exclusive The Duskbloods. An action RPG with more of a multiplayer slant, FromSoftware will be running a network test from August 21st-24th, 2026, at specific times. If you were selected to participate in the test period, you can now download the app to your console by visiting the official website and receiving your download code.

I haven’t tried to boot the app just yet, but if this is like any past public test period, it will simply boot to a menu screen and state the servers aren’t available. Still, it feels a little surreal to have a portion of the game sitting on my Nintendo Switch 2 with basically nothing known about it apart from some short trailers released throughout the last year. Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition hasn’t even hit Switch 2 yet, but we are mere days away from playing The Duskbloods.

Network test times for The Duskbloods

The network test will be running at these specific times:

  • August 21, 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. ET
  • August 21, 10 p.m. – August 22, 2 a.m. ET
  • August 22, 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. ET
  • August 23, 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. ET
  • August 23, 10 p.m. – August 24, 2 a.m. ET
