Diablo IV is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 next month with previously released expansions, a reliable industry leaker has claimed.

Insider billbil-kun started last month’s rumors of the action RPG coming to the Nintendo platform, and has now followed that up on Dealabs (via Eurogamer) with a release date of September 15th, 2026.

“Two independent leaks, originating from two official classification bodies (Indonesia and then Taiwan), point towards this version,” billbil-kun explained.

If this is accurate, then the game will launch two days after BlizzCon, an annual convention by Diablo developer Blizzard – meaning an official reveal may happen at the event across September 12th-13th.

It’s claimed that the Switch 2 version will include the Diablo IV’s Age of Hatred Collection, consisting of the expansions Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred.

The leaker also said that the game will see a physical release priced at $69.99 | £62.99, but only as code in a box rather than a cartridge. Pre-orders will apparently open on September 12th.

billbil-kun has a solid track record when it comes to the accuracy of their gaming leaks, correctly predicting a number of unannounced ports, PlayStation Plus lineups, Epic Games store freebies, and more.

Rumors of a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Diablo IV go back as far as January 2025. The game originally launched in 2023 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
