Industry insiders Jeff Grubb and Nate the Hate have said that a Nintendo Direct presentation will likely broadcast next week.
On the latest episode of the Jeff Grubb’s Game Mess podcast, the journalist shared what he’d heard from his sources around the 14:10 mark.
“There’s a possibility it could happen on Wednesday, but I’ll say the date I keep hearing is next Tuesday – and Tuesday morning specifically,” Grubb said.
Meanwhile, Nate the Hate shared something similar on his recent podcast, from the 23:40 mark.
“From what I have heard, the Nintendo Direct will take place next week, the second week of June,” Nate said.
It should be noted that Nintendo has yet to confirm this date. However, with Summer Game Fest wrapping up on Monday, June 8th, a Direct the following day would fit neatly into the wider schedule of June’s gaming announcements.
The last general Nintendo Direct presentation took place back in September 2025, featuring big reveals such as The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, the Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 Switch bundle, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, and more.
