Tales of Arise will be heading to Nintendo Switch 2 soon, and we’ve reviewed it! As Nintendo Wire’s Ricky Berg writes, “The story, cast, and art direction draw you in and bring confidence to the future of the series as its 30th anniversary winds down.” Sounds promising, especially if you missed the game five years ago when it hit PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Why not get yourself hyped by checking out the new launch trailer for this Switch 2 edition?

From what I can gather, this isn’t a special edition or remaster of the game, but a straight port to Nintendo’s platform. Arise was never ported to the original Switch as it probably wouldn’t have run well enough, but the extra horsepower of Nintendo’s latest hybrid console has finally let Bandai Namco port its games over. I would imagine we’ll be seeing more Tales games release on Switch 2 in the coming months/years, which is good news for fans who have abandoned dedicated home consoles.

Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition will be landing on Switch 2 on May 22nd, 2026. It’s priced at $49.99, and comes on a Game-Key Card. You can pre-order your copy on Amazon now.
