All praise our digital future! As noted by a new disclaimer on its digital store pages, LEGO 2K Drive will be delisted from digital storefronts on May 19th, 2026. The disclaimers are visible on Steam, Xbox Live, PSN, and the Epic Games Store, though weirdly not the Nintendo eShop. That’s likely down to how Nintendo updates its website more than the Switch version seemingly remaining for sale.

Publisher 2K Games hasn’t made an official announcement, but considering the Steam store page warning, this probably isn’t some fluke. As you can see, players are met with the following message on Valve’s platform:

“This product will no longer be available for purchase as of 05/19/2026.

NOTE: All multiplayer servers for LEGO® 2K Drive will be shutdown as of 05/31/2027. After that time, all game functions requiring online servers will no longer function.”

That’s a bummer, especially since it only gives players four more days to buy the game if they want it. LEGO 2K Drive isn’t overly expensive, running only $20 for the base game, but it has four season passes priced at $10 each, bringing the total up to $60… though one is currently not available for purchase. Those passes include things like new vehicles, different drivers, and a bunch of livery customization options, so it’s not insubstantial stuff.

My guess is that some of the car licenses are expiring and 2K doesn’t feel inclined to renew them. It happens all the time with racing games, making me wonder what the future will look like for games in 10-20 years. At any rate, you can still grab LEGO 2K Drive from the eShop if you want it.
