A new line of Mother 3 products is coming soon to the Hobonichi web store, including clothing and practical items for the summer as well as a new wave of “magnet mascots.”

The Hobonichi Mother Project – a merchandise brand by Mother series creator Shigesato Itoi – has recently revealed the new items in a series of posts on X , which celebrate the 20th anniversary of Mother 3 .

The “Mother’s Summer” lineup includes a baseball cap featuring Mr. Saturn (in purple or beige) and a pair of t-shirts. One is a white shirt featuring the Mother logo, while the other has a chest embroidery of Ninten and lyrics from the song “Pollyanna” on the back.

This line also includes Nalgene water bottles and white umbrellas (both sporting the Mother logo), and yellow Converse shoes featuring Lucas, Claus, and Boney.

The Mother’s summer products will be available at a booth at the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Plaza “Life’s Enjoyment Exhibition,” which will run from June 1st to 7th.

There will also be new additions to Hobonichi’s “magnet mascots” range. These are plush toys that have magnets inside of them, allowing them to be attached to metal surfaces. Joining the lineup are Kumatora, Duster, Boney, a Clayman, a Save Frog, an Osohe Ghost, and a Mr. Saturn.

Merchandise for the broader Mother/Earthbound franchise have been announced as well, including stickers, a Tenda plush, and keychains of enemies including a Starman, a Ramblin’ Evil Mushroom, the Dept. Store Spook, and a Bear.

Prices and release dates for these products have yet to be announced, but with summer quickly approaching, they should become available on the Hobonichi web store soon.
