As if this week wasn’t big enough for Super Mario Galaxy fans, Tetris 99 is now joining in the celebration. The game’s 52nd Maximus Cup will be themed to Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. The new background includes Galaxy 2’s cover art along with some nice key artwork of Rosalina and the Lumas.
When does Tetris 99’s 52nd Maximus Cup begin?
Tetris 99’s 52nd Maximus Cup begins this weekend on April 3rd at 12 a.m. PT and will run until April 6th at 11:59 p.m. PT. If you’re looking for a reason to get back on Tetris 99, now seems to be a great time.
And don’t forget, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie lands in theaters on April 1st.
