You may have a slept a few nights since the last time you saw or heard anything about Darwin’s Paradox. The cinematic stealth platformer starring an Octopus was first revealed in a Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase roughly a year ago with minor appearances since.

Thanks to today’s Playstation State of Play, we now have a release date of April 2nd for this quirky title. Its inclusion in Konami’s blowout lineup for the presentation was quite unexpected as the trailer tied into a slot of Metal Gear Solid titles. It makes perfect sense given the focus on sneaking through treacherous levels.

In addition to the game’s full release, a demo will hit all platforms tomorrow. So we’ll have a chance to see if we prefer slinking around as a Snake or as an octopus.
